Sandy Groom-Meeks
Sandy Groom-Meeks is a Northwest Iowa Tech Integration Consultant with 30+ years in public education. Her roles span teacher, tech coach, tech director, and university adjunct. She holds degrees in Early Childhood, Elementary Ed, and Technology-Based Learning. Sandy helps schools with AI policy, tech PD, computer science curricula, STEM grants, and makerspaces. She serves on multiple state and regional tech committees and speaks regularly on edtech. Passionate about classroom innovation, she partners with educators to boost learning. Off the clock, Sandy indulges her love of gadgets — if it beeps, blinks, or syncs, it’s probably already in her Amazon cart.

Chad Sussex
Chad Sussex currently serves as the 7 - 12 Assistant Principal and AI Task Force Leader in the Winterset Community School District in Iowa. An educator since 2008, he previously served as a Technology Instructor and Technology Coach. Servant leadership is central to the various roles and positions Chad has held: education leadership, restaurant management, and U.S. Army Non-commissioned Officer. He excels in supporting others to be innovative and willing to fall forward, iterate, and be perseverant. Chad finds strength and encouragement from his loving family – his wife and two children.
